Ombre Brows by Clinica Medica – Ombré – french meaning “Shaded”
It is the gradual blending of one colour hue to another usually moving tints and shades from light to dark. Ombré brows first originated from Eastern Europe and have now arrived in the UK.
The Ombré brow technique is similar to ombré hair colouring, where colour fades from dark and light on the hair, only it is the opposite on the brows as the front or bulb of the brow being the lightest moving into stronger colour through the arch and tail. This gives a beautiful soft filtered look through the front. The baseline of the brow is also enhanced to deliver a crisp outline.
With all good brows, precision is a key element so time is spent with the client to create a template for their chosen brow shape. Brows are measured, marked and adjusted to suit the needs of the client until the perfect arrangement is finally decided upon.
At Clinica Medica we aim to create beautiful natural looking brows however, we occasionally get clients who require a stronger, more dramatic brow which we are also happy to provide.
Clinica Medica offers two types of brows:
The decision on this is mostly a personal choice and preference, although if you have previously had brow treatments that did not hold the colour or if you have large pores and oily skin around the brow area, we would recommend ombré brows as a suitable choice.
We offer a free thorough and extensive consultation at Clinica Medica, in order that you fully understand the procedure and that we are aware of your needs and how best to fulfil them. If you are unsure our resident technician Valerie will guide you through the procedure and expected results. At all stages of our brow procedures we strive to keep our clients informed and involved.
Ombré brows are currently priced at £270, this is inclusive of a top treatment that would follow within 12 weeks of the original procedure.
