Deep Tissue Massage

An advanced version of the Swedish massage with benefits in relieving chronic muscle tension. This treatment focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue rather than the superficial, therefore is not suitable for everyone. Deep tissue massage involves a combination of movements and your therapist will use their hands, elbows and more pressure than in other massage in order to manipulate muscle tension. Benefits also include reduced stress levels and stabalising heart rate through the production of oxytocin and serotonin (that’s happy hormones!).

Ensure to discuss in detail any and all medical conditions or muscle, joint complaints you have prior to treatment and communicate with your therapist at all times to ensure you are comfortable.

Our Testimonials

I had a fantastic massage from Donna today. Totally professional and made me feel very welcome and at ease. I really liked how she asked me what scented oil I wanted with my massage. Was a nice personal touch! The pressure was good- firm as i like it and I left there relaxed, feeling pampered and wanting to book another asap. Thanks again Donna !
